3rd International Engineering Week 2013
We are pleased to invite you to participate in our Annual International Engineering Week (IEW) that will take place at Schmalkalden University of Applied Sciences on December 9th-13th.
The main objective of the event is to promote recognition among students of the importance of technical education and to expand the network of the engineering professionals. The program includes a number of lectures and workshops that will be held in English by professors from Finland, Spain, Bulgaria and Turkey. At the end of the course there is an opportunity to take a test, which is equal to 2,5 ECTS. In addition, all participants will get certificates for attending the International Engineering Week.
Aside from the interesting lectures, the IEW gathers people from all over the world and gives a chance to make new friends and learn something new about different cultures. To make it possible, the IEW coordinators are planning the following events: an opening ceremony, bowling session with paid food and beverages, excursion to the company “Thüringer Waldquell”, trip to Eisenach with offered medieval dinner, and finally the closing party at the “Studentenclub Schmalkalden”.
Everybody who is interested in participating in the International Engineering Week, please visit the Stud.IP page to complete the registration online.
We are looking forward to see you!
